FerrySide Snack Co. is a new stand set up near the ferry docks and parks on both the Anderson Island and Steilacoom sides of the crossing, run by a group of current and former islanders helping cover a bit of what was lost when the store closed.
They carry cold drinks, candy, chips, and other snacks, plus warm-weather basics like sunscreen and sunglasses. Cash and chip cards accepted, and posted prices include tax.
Hours for now: Fridays on the Steilacoom side, 3 to 7pm, and Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays on both sides, 11am to 7pm. Times depend on weather and ferry traffic, so they may shift. They are generally open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
