Saturday morning
American Legion Post 265 holds its General Membership Meeting at the Riviera Lakeshore Restaurant. Breakfast begins at 9am, with the meeting following at 10am.
Saturday evening
The Island Bands Outdoor Summer Concert takes over the Johnson Farm stage, 5 to 9pm. Free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, or a picnic. It is held at the Historical Society’s Johnson Farm, 9306 Otso Point Rd.
Getting here this weekend
Heads up on the boats. The usual weekend two-boat service is canceled Thursday and Friday, so those days run a single boat. Two-boat service returns Sunday. Saturday runs its normal schedule. With the concert Saturday evening, expect the afternoon and evening sailings to fill, so get to the dock with tickets twenty minutes before departure.
