A good stretch of days coming up, ending in a busy Saturday. Here is what is on.
Thursday

Ice Cream Social at the American Legion Community Center (11319 Yoman Rd.), 7 to 8pm. An easy hour, come cool off.
Friday
Live music at the Riviera Lakeshore Restaurant, 6:30 to 9pm on the outdoor stage. Uncle Daddy and the King Tide play, $10 at the door.
Saturday
Three things worth planning around, and they overlap, so pace yourself.
The Anderson Island Historical Society Silent Auction runs 10am to 2pm at the Johnson Farm Archival Building. Check out auction items from island artists, small business owners, and other islanders who have contributed must-have items. Get your bids in early!
The annual AIHS Salmon & Rib Bake runs concurrently at the Johnson Farm from noon to 3pm, one of the reliable highlights of the island summer, with proceeds from both supporting the Historical Society. Buy your tickets online through July 3rd.
At the American Legion Community Center, the Craft Bazaar and Car Show runs 10am to 4pm, the longest window of the day if you want to browse and wander.
Getting here this weekend
The county is running two-boat service Thursday through Sunday for the holiday, July 2 through 5, so the extra mid-day runs are on every day of the weekend, including Saturday. There is no two-boat service the following Tuesday, July 7. Peak fares apply either way. Get to the dock with tickets twenty minutes before departure, and expect the afternoon sailings to be full. Check current times and buy tickets through the City Experiences app (find in your android or iphone app store, instructions for using).
